Students who are interested in dance, choreography, and movement may choose to be part of our marching auxiliary unit, called Winter Guard. The Winter Guard is an indoor version of the Color Guard taking place in the winter months. This group is open to students in grades 9-12.

West Essex Band Boosters support our students’ winter activities such as Indoor Percussion and Winter Guard through the following activities:

• Provide for props and equipment, as needed, each season,
• Pit Crew support (Indoor Percussion) for moving equipment on and off the performance floor,
• A celebratory group lunch or dinner towards the end of the season,
• Senior scholarships
