The Indoor Percussion Ensemble is a competitive percussion unit that performs in the winter/early spring. All percussionists are highly encouraged to join this group. Depending on the needs of instrumentation, wind players may also join this group. Indoor Percussion is open to students in grades 9-12 who are interested in expanding their percussive knowledge and who are interested in learning a new instrument!

West Essex Band Boosters support our students’ winter activities such as Indoor Percussion and Winter Guard through the following activities:

• Provide for props and equipment, as needed, each season,
• Pit Crew support (Indoor Percussion) for moving equipment on and off the performance floor,
• A celebratory group lunch or dinner towards the end of the season,
• Senior scholarships
